Heat Treatment & Quenching

Connect loading, heating, quenching, tempering, cooling and unloading positions with controlled workpiece movement.

Heat Treatment & Quenching

One handling sequence must connect several thermal-process positions.

The application is a controlled movement sequence across loading, heating, quenching, tempering, cooling and unloading—not simply a machine beside a furnace.

01

Load and heat

The fork supports the workpiece and places it at the agreed furnace position.

02

Quench and temper

Travel, lifting or lowering and frame slewing connect the specified treatment positions.

03

Cool and unload

The final transfer returns the workpiece to the agreed cooling or unloading position.

Engineering focus

The process sequence defines every required movement.

Workpiece support, furnace and quench interfaces, travel positions and operating mode are reviewed as one sequence. The currently verified SDT direction is rail-bound and fork-type.

Intended outcomeControlled workpiece movement across the agreed heat-treatment sequence, within a clearly defined equipment boundary.
